Milky Way Arching over Tetons

Milky Way Arching over Tetons
I decided to stay up on Table Mountain after witnessing the amazing 2017 total eclipse over the Grand Teton Mountains. With the moon down and being so high and remote, there was barely any light pollution. Consequently, the Milky Way and all of the universe lit up the area. I've never seen the night sky so bright!
I timed the photo just right to have the Milky Way arching directly over the mountain peaks. This is actually 125 photographs stitched into one photo in order to see the full, expansive scene. At this resolution, 1024 megapixels, I am blown away at how many stars there are: I mean stars between stars between stars. At full print width of 61", you will be able to walk right up to this and see them. Love my Nikon! (also used Sigma Art 50mm 1.4 lens which is super duper sharp.)
